Motor City USY (MCUSY) is the Metro Detroit chapter of United Synagogue Youth (USY). USY empowers Jewish youth to develop friendships, leadership skills, a sense of belonging to the Jewish people, a deep engagement with and love for Israel, and a commitment to inspired Jewish living through meaningful and fun experiences based on the ideology of Conservative Judaism. MCUSY hosts events that get local teens together to have fun, make new friends, give back to the community, celebrate Jewish holidays, learn about Israel, and build meaningful experiences! MCUSY’s partner congregations are Adat Shalom Synagogue, B’nai Israel Synagogue, Congregation Beth Ahm, Congregation Beth Shalom, Congregation B’nai Moshe, and Congregation Shaarey Zedek.
