BBYO offers one-of-a-kind summer experiences all over the world! Options are available for teens of all ages and experiences. Whether at camp, on an outdoor journey, or in a new country, a BBYO summer is an experience to remember with friends you’ll never forget. A BBYO membership or prior involvement with BBYO is NOT necessary to participate! Programs include:
- Euro-Continental Discovery: Experience Europe’s cultural diversity and rich history as part of a close-knit group of teens on the four-week transcontinental odyssey traveling from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean Sea! This experience combines the Western Europe Discovery and Italy Discovery trips. Teens will visit Amsterdam, Paris, and London, and will travel across Italy, as well.
- Italy Discovery: Spend two glorious weeks exploring the history, culture, and cuisine of beautiful Italy! Visit Rome, Venice, and Florence, and embrace your adventurous spirit in the lush Slovenian Alps along the way. As a Jewish travel experience, Italy Discovery is also about retracing the 2,000+ year history of continuous Jewish life in Italy.
- Mediterranean Discovery: Travel to Madrid and all over Southern Spain on a rich two-week experience, and then continue for two more glorious weeks discovering beautiful Italy and embracing your adventurous spirit in the Slovenian Alps. This experience combines the Italy Discovery and Spain Discovery trips.
- Poland Journey: Travel throughout Poland on this deeply moving and inspiring experience. Discover the richness of Jewish history in Central Europe, bear witness to what was lost, and recommit to be part of a better future.
- Spain Discovery: Journey to Madrid, Toledo, Granada, and Seville as you explore the Golden Age of Spain, the Inquisition, and the beauty of Spanish culture. This experience includes a memorable Shabbat on the Rock of Gibraltar!
- Stand UP Dominican Republic: Immerse yourself in Dominican society and give back through a series of educational service projects. Impact local communities while experiencing the island’s unique Jewish history, natural richness, and cultural traditions.
- Western Europe Discovery: Travel to the grand Western European capitals of London, Paris, and Amsterdam on this multi-country journey full of world heritage sites and colorful Jewish history. Visit the Anne Frank home, the Eiffel Tower, the Mona Lisa, Normandy, and Big Ben. Experience the highlights and treasures of Western Europe!
- Western USA Adventure: Hit the road for a three-week travel adventure in California and Arizona! See a totally new side of America from bustling cities to the breathtaking national parks! Discover the American Southwest’s many treasures on a transformative journey with a focus on exhilarating adventures in nature, road-tripping through national parks, and creating meaningful connections along the way.
